Postal China imperial envelope stamped with ink drawing qing périod French 1899
Very interesting envelope dated June 17, 1899 - China imperial Qing - stamped in front. The sender belonged to the Legation of the French Republic in China.
For this envelope the back has disappeared but the sender is the same as for the other envelloppe on sale. It also presents a beautiful drawing in Chinese ink representing a rooster in the middle of flowers. Added to this is a beautiful calligraphy in red. Of great historical interest and rarity with this beautiful drawing.
Dimensions : 4.52 inches and 5.70 inches. Enveloppe postale datée du 17 juin 1899 - Chine. Qing - timbrée à l'avant.
L'expéditeur appartenait à La Légation de la République Française en Chine. Pour cette enveloppe l'arrière a disparu mais l'expéditeur est le même que pour l'autre.
Elle présente de surcroit, un très beau dessin à l'encre de chine représentant un coq au milieu de fleurs. S'y ajoute une belle calligraphie en rouge. D'un grand intérêt historique et d'une grande rareté avec ce beau dessin. Dimensions : 14.5 sur 11.5 cm.
