Chinese Imperial Yellow Ming Pottery Goutou Tile Terminal 14th or 15th Century Deep relief five toe dragon chasing a flaming pearl, decorated in Imperial yellow glaze. Collected on or before 1900. Made in China in the 1300's About 7 5/8 inches in diameter (the tile).

The frame is about 9 3/4 inches in diameter. It is about 2 inches deep.

From the crack in the side of the frame, the tile depth is about 1 1/4 inch deep. Total weight is about 2.275 kg. Silver plaque on the side of the frame which reads from MING TOMBS NANKOW PEKING CHINA 21st May 1900.

Some glaze loss and some chipping on the edge. One toe lost from dragons front foot, along with claw from another toe on the same foot.

Crack on the side of the wood frame.
