Chinese Imperial Dragon in Cinnabar, Cloisonné & Black Wood Walking Stick/Cane
The Stick measures 33 1/2 inches x 1 1/8 inches and tapers to 3/4 inches. The Stick can be broken down into three sections and each section is secured together with a very neat brass screwing action. The first section is Cinnabar: The generous Cinnabar Handle has lovely feel and measures 7 inches across x 1 1/2 inches and tapers to 1 inch. It is inlaid with a Mother of Pearl symbol. The section measures 10 1/2 inches and features an impressive 5 clawed Dragon. The second section is Cloisonné: This section has a most beautiful Flying Long Tailed Pheasant and Florals featured all over.
This section measures 10 inches and has a brass cap both ends to receive the brass screw ins. The third section is Black Enameled Wood with a beautiful red painted symbol. This section measures 13 inches with a ferrule at its tip. There is a little age wear on the Black Wood section and the ferrule, but only seen upon close inspection.
