Rare Qianlong imperial cloisonne enamel object. 3in t x 1.75 w in at the base. Please ask any questions you may have, you can also request any additional images you need. Appears to have been from a larger piece, possibly an incense holder, or censer. The piece is made on a hand chased copper body, evidence of the chasing work can be seen on the underside of the piece.
The delicate wires framing the enamel designs are real gold. The other areas, such as the rim, and "cloth" wrapped around the neck are gilt copper.
The body was made of gilt copper, while the fine wires are real gold. The piece has wear and some chips with minor enamel loss - two areas around the base where holes exist from the original assembly have some small bits of enamel loss. There is one area on the body where there is some enamel loss and you can see more of the gold there and some minor chips around the "cloth". At one time someone used a regular metal polish on this and I see tiny deposits of white polish in the air bubble holes on the surface. Keep in mind the piece is small, only 3in high, and these imperfections are not detracting from the overall piece.
