A well hallowed oval-shaped bottle of flattened form, carved with a flat lip, a short cylindrical neck, flared to a bulbous body, flanked by a pair of Buddhistic lion mask, carved in high relief at both shoulders, tapering to a short footrim, slightly concaved at the bottom. XXX The stone is of an even greenish-white tone; Excellent condition, without chips, cracks, or repairs. Chinese art form - designed as portable containers to hold the powdered tobacco, commonly known as Snuff. Hetian Nephrite Jade, western Xinjiang Province of China.
