This beautiful piece of oriental ceramics is a famille verte porcelain plate dating to the early 20th century. The quality of decoration on this piece is extremely high, and this was undoubtedly part of a very expensive set when new. Measuring 25.5cm wide it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines etc, and no wear from use - the gilding on the edge has slight wear from age, and there is a patch of scratching to the glaze on the underside only.
