Antique Chinese Blue & White Fish Plate (c1897-1910)
An attractive Chinese Porcelain plate, hand painted with a large leaping blue carp. The carp was an auspicious fish in China and a symbol of perseverance and success. A charming example of Chinese hand painted blue & white porcelain dated late 19th/early 20th century. It is in excellent condition with no chips or hairline cracks - see photos for a statement of condition. Approximate dimensions: 22cm (8 3/4) diameter x 4.2cm deep; Weight 520g.
