Please read the whole description! On offer is a Chinese Hetian Jade/ Hardstone Pendant. It is 5.7 cm long, 0.8 cm wide/thick and 9.2 cm tall at the widest points. It is very finely carved with a very good/excellent amount of details.
There is a carved phoenix on one side and a dragon on the other side. The colour is the most sought after in Jade items; the Imperial Green. This is quite a more detailed carving, so I think this one is post 1930. Most probably carved in the 1960s.
The texture and colour point towards that as well. It also gets cold when in a low temperature environment. This is a very prestigious pendant (due to its colour) and would make an excellent addition to any collection of Jade items.
It will also make an ideal an excellent gift to any lady. This carving in very good/excellent condition with minor blemishes. There are a few tiny dents on the upper frame of one side (please see photo 9).
Also, there are two dings/dents on the base of the pendant. But these are purely visual blemishes and they don't affect the functionality/integrity of this pendant. Very homogeneous colour throughout with some minor shades of the main colour. The main photos depict it without natural light. Photos 9 and 10 with light reflecting on it and last photo how translucent it is. Top of the range smoothness for non Jadeite item. I actually had to conduct a scratch test to rule out being Jadeite..
Needless to say that such a crazy quality Imperial Green colour pendant would normally sell for a much higher price. If you are familiar with Jade items, the you know.
This is a genuine opportunity to get a really desirable pendant at a very reasonable price. Such pieces are not on offer very often.. Should you need any additional info, please do not hesitate to ask me any questions. I would be very happy to assist you.
Please study the photos provided as they form part of the description. What you see is what you get! A few things about me and my listings for art pieces. Whether you believe it or not my interest started from Traditional Japanese razors (Kamisoris) and Natural Sharpening stones (Toishi) and quickly expanded to anything Japanese related really and absolutely fell in love it!Then expanded to Chinese art pieces as well. Hence , I have sought the expertise of a Native Japanese speaking Accredited Art Appraiser with nearly 3 decades of experience. I use his guidance alongside the description of accredited auctioneers to describe my lots and in line with similar known examples. Of course mistakes can occur and I will take full responsibility if that happens. If you are qualified to do so and you spot an alleged error in my listing, then please let me know. BUT, you have to be in a position to do so, i. You are a Certified Art Appraiser registered with an Appropriate Body or an Accredited Auctioneer in Art and have professional knowledge. However, if you are just another "dealer" or a self proclaimed "expert" and you know everything better. Outperform me and my Art Appraiser in every simple possible way. Then I would like to state that your "expertise" is neither requested nor is welcome! I guess my "expertise" about Triden.
