Presented is an antique set of 8 porcelain or fine china dinner plates made by Royal Worcester during the last quarter of the 1800s. Each plate is done in an octagonal shape and the large, decorative rims are hand enameled/painted and gilded with bamboo shoots and exotic, colorful birds.

This is a very unique and fine quality set. The underside of each piece is stamped under the glaze for Royal Worcester.

This set is in great overall condition. There is some minor wear to the paint, as you can see in the photographs. One plate has a hairline crack on its rim.
