1935 Trocadero Restaurant Menu New Years Eve Imperial Dragon Of China Manchu

I have here for sale a beautifully illustrated menu from THE TROCADERO RESTAURANT in London, prepared for their NEW YEAR'S EVE party on December 31 1935. The menu shows the IMPERIAL DRAGON OF CHINA, Manchu Dynasty. The dragon decoration on the inside of the menu has been worked from reproductions of mural paintings in the Imperial Palace in Peking.

The management of the Trocadero desire it to be known that a limited number of their special menus are set aside for collectors who desire to possess them. Application should be made to the headwaiter or manager. This is one of those set aside for collectors! 27 cm x 21 cm. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
