I also do this to keep my mind busy so I can get through my life so thank you for your support and love. 1920's Antique Chinese opera doll was acquired at the home of the late Phil Rizzuto's (NY Yankees Annoucer) wife Cora many years ago. Cora travelled the world to find her dolls. This was one of her favorites and she kept it safe in a white box to keep it from damaging. The beautiful opera doll wears a rich silk costume with green tunic and pants adorned with silk flowers as shown. He has a delicately and finely painted paper mache face or possibly composition Not too sure on that. Her fingers are long and slender and all in tact. She has a wooden torso with articulated arms and legs. Her head is topped with a decorative beaded headdress that was popular with these types of dolls. Her outfit is in very nice condition as is the doll.
