Early Antique Qing Imperial Dragon Robe Kesi Textile Altar Tapestry Fragment
Here is an exceptional early Chinese Kesi Dragon robe fragment. It is exceptionally fine and delicate compared to other similar textiles I have seen. I think this may have belonged to a child and not an adult. The colors are still vibrant on both sides and there is gold as well. The condition is as pictured. I believe this is an earlier piece. It is mounted in an altar-like frame with top and side panels to cover it. Dimensions: It measures 29 x 26 inches over all. The Kesi part measures 16.5 x 15 inches.
